YU launched Yutopia with Quad HD Display for INR 24,999

Yu Televentures,India launched their first flagship phone called the Yutopia today.(December 17,2015).On the launch event at New Delhi the flagship phone Yutopia along with their service software called Around YU got unveiled.At the launch event Mr. Rahul Sharma, CEO, YU Televentures stated that they went around the world to get the best to Yutopia.As said they have added the best parts for the Yutopia.The Yutopia is made by Aircraft grade Aluminium and bears thickness of 7.2 mm.

Talking about the Yutopia the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz Cortex A57 Quad core and 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 Quad core (Dual Quad core ).The processor is clubbed with Adreno 430 GPU with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM.It has a 5.2 inch Quad HD (2560X1440) TP OGS (One Glass Solution) display made by Sharp.The display has a pixel density of 565 ppi with protection by Corning Concore Glass.

Concore Glass is an OGS Laminated Display from Corning, the manufacturer  of Gorilla Glass. Concore Glass is as hard, resistant to scratches  & damage as with Gorilla Glass. Concore Glass is also known as Fit  Glass because of the laminated display technology used in which  Protection Glass and Touch device is integrated into one unit

For the rear camera, a 21 mega pixel Sony Exmor  RS IMX 230 sensor have been used combining with a 5P lens, Optical Image Stabilisation(OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 77.3 degree wide angle lens with a true tone flash.The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30 FPS , 1080p @60FPS and slow motion videos at 720p @120FPS.On the front it has a 8 mega pixel OV8865 sensor with 5P lens, 1.4um pixel size, f2.2 aperture and 86 degree wide lens.

It has 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable upto 128 GB with a MicroSD slot.Yutopia runs on Cyanogen 12.1 based on Android 5.1.It comes pre-loaded with YU's own service app called Around YU which gives users a comparision list of all the best deals available for Food, Shopping, Cabs, Flights,Hotels etc.Not only a comparison list users can also book/buy using this app.It also comes pre-loaded with Gaana as the default music app with 6 month free subscription for unlimited latest music.

The Dual SIM (Micro SIM and Nano SIM) smartphone supports 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and other standard connectivity features.It also features a Finger print sensor at the back of the device below the YU patented Saturn rings.The finger print sensors can also be used to capture selfies by tapping it.

As said earlier Yutopia will have all the best in it, the Yutopia comes bundled with Little Bird Earphone in the box.The device also comes with DTS audio experience for better audio.It has three mics for active noise cancellation.

The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 which could charge the device from 0 - 60% in 30 minutes.Sensors include 6-axis Gyroscope, Barometer, Magnetometer, G-Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Hall Sensor and Fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and pre booking starts today 2 PM and sale begins on 26 December.

Assured Upgrade :

Yu also announced assured upgrade for the Yutopia users to Yutopia 2.This means that the buyers of Yutopia could exchange their device for 40% cash back on buying new smartphone from YU.
