Micromax Today unveiled its next 4G Phone called the Canvas Sliver 5. They calls it as the Slimmest Phone ever as it has end to end 5.1 mm Thickness not as other brands with a bump at center or a bump at the rear camera region.Not only in thickness this device also weighs only 97 gms making it the lightest phone ever.
Micromax this time has given more importance to the design and build quality of the device.Canvas Sliver 5 is made using Aircraft grade Aluminium to cut down the weight.The Aluminium frame runs around the device and making it a strong, Thin and Light weight device.The usage of Ultra Thin PCB and AMOLED screen has reduced the thickness and weight of the device.
Talking about the Specs, Canvas Sliver 5 holds a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 Quad-Core Processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with Adreno 306 GPU.It has 2 GB of RAM for better Multitasking.On the Camera Segment it has 8 MP Sony IMX219 Sensors with a LED Flash on the rear.The rear camera is packed with Professional modes.On the front it has a 5MP Camera.
The Audio Output from the device is improved with the presence of NXP Power AMP and Dirac HD Sound.
It runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of box.Sliver 5 has 16GB of inbuilt storage with no space for MicroSD card.
On the display front it has a 4.8 inch HD ( 1280 X 720 ) AMOLED display.It comes in two colour variants White and Black.
Connectivity include 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v 4.0, GPS with A-GPS Support and GLONASS, Micro USB 2.0 port and 3.5mm Audio Jack is available.
Starting from this device Micromax is going to introduce Pick and Drop Service which means the company personnel will reach your home to get it repaired and return it to you on your door step and guaranteed return in seven days.
The Canvas Sliver 5 is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-Po battery. Company claims that the usage of Low Power components decreases the power consumption of the device and provides a day standby.
